Last night Jose & Myra Humphreys, Gigi and I had the privilege of attending the Hermanas SOL event, "Profiles of Latinas: A Celebration of Latina Artists,"
which took place at Shine in the Lower East Side. "SOL" stands for, "Supporting Opportunities for Latinas," and our very own Belinda Passafaro is on its executive committee. The event featured photography, painting and poetry reading. Featured artists included LLC’s Sandra Luz Otero, Shirley Miranda-Rodriguez, 
Michelle Tirado and Mirandy Rodriguez-Brown. A silent auction was held as we all enjoyed networking and catching up with old friends.
