  1. Belinda,
    Sounds great, God-speed!

  2. eh pah Belinda! You finally posted.

  3. We really should get all Latino leaders together here in Los Angeles. We need a forum to unite and help each other. I’m willing.

  4. DavidT,
Blessings! A number of us have had felt a great degree of unrest, sensing the need for a Latino emergent meeting here on the Northeast, I’m sure with the right coordination and the appropriate leadership, we can conduct a simultaneous coast-to-coast conference via satellite or one held in conjunction, or in tandem with one another. Rev. David del Valle of Philadelphia, Rudy Carrasco, Liz Rios and many more have been making some hit and run passes at this idea. Perhaps its time for a true pow-wow.

  5. Hi David, Vision, vision, purpose, purpose. That’s first. We need to get together to pray and talk about these issues. Is there a need? I think we need to be the voice for the younger Latino/a’s out there as you said. Grace to you, davidT

  6. DavidT,
This is exactly what we have been discussing–a series of regional, informal meetings preceding any “event.” We need to talk.
    David

  7. this can be definitey done. my bias is that it be something dialogical. traditional conferences with people speaking at me are starting to wear thin.
it can be organic with some purpose of course. I think if we can begin to formulate some questions…
    paz mi gente

  8. Ditto, mi hermano, while I know that I will be probably attending conferences until the eschaton–I’m conferenced out! What’s scary is that most conferences are like bad “B” films where you can determine the plot and know in antipation what will occur before it happens.
