  1. When I was growing up in Harlem I had the privilege to go to the Walden School on scholarship through Sponsors for Educational Opportunity. At Walden I became friends with Ben Chaney. Ben’s brother James was one of the three civil rights workers killed in Mississippi, and the only black one. In memory of James Chaney and others like him, who died so that others may be able to vote. Go out and vote and let your voice be heard.
